Honoring Indigenous Athletes: A High-Tech, Culturally Rich Exhibit
We partnered with the BC Sports Hall of Fame to conceive, develop, and install a permanent interactive digital experience. This exhibit allows guests to interact with artifacts from remarkable athletes while learning about their legacies. We handled the design, production, and installation of the entire experience.
Our approach
The exhibit integrates player artifacts, facts, photos, and videos of Indigenous athletes to create a dynamic and educational narrative. It celebrates their contributions to sports and fosters a deeper appreciation for their diverse cultural impact.
01
Game Development
We used the Unity game engine to create a responsive interface and incorporated Leap Motion gesture technology to react to visitors' movements.
02
Interactive Experience
Digitized artifacts and custom props enhanced the interactive exhibit, merging technology with cultural representation to celebrate Indigenous athletic achievements.
03
Implementation
Focused on the successful launch, setup, and operation of the exhibit, including detailed operator manuals to ensure efficient management and maintenance in its permanent space.
04
Exhibit Protection
Wear and tear is reduced dramatically as nobody needs to touch any part of the installation.
“Working with the team on a new digital interactive game for our new Indigenous Sport Gallery was an entirely positive experience from beginning to end. The high quality of work and the delivery of an eye-catching and entertaining game in an incredibly tight time frame were impressive, to say the least. We wouldn’t hesitate to work with them again in the future and would certainly recommend them to other organizations.”
